The Board of Trustees, at their February meeting, appointed Jan Toci to serve
as a board member. Her term will expire December 2007. Ms. Toci is a
graduate of Edinboro University and is the owner of Castle Tavern. She is a
former employee of the library, where she worked as the children's coordinator
with adult services. We feel she will be a real asset to the Board.
The Community Library is growing in leaps and bounds. Our readership is up
over 20% from last year. The attendance at our children's programs has
increased. Our book discussions and our monthly writers’ forum have also
shown that many residents and guests are enjoying these programs.
The library has books in large print and books on tapes and cds. Books on tape
or cd are very useful to exercise enthusiasts. They make a boring task
interesting and enjoyable! Stop by and visit our excellent staff. They can help
find something to interest you.
