Equipment Managers Report
No outstanding issues at this time. He would like to know the last date for 2nd/3rd grade basketball so he can recover all equipment, inventory it and store it.

Joe Willson asked if we have any outstanding equipment issues. Rick replied I have no way of knowing at this time. For baseball, we have enough equipment on hand. Majority of the equipment is in very good shape which will keep expenses down this year. Dick's Sporting goods donated new bags and a few other items. We should purchase new soccer nets for next year for 5/6 but he will have a formal recommendation at the next CSYA meeting.

Guide lines Committee:
(Vacant)

Rick Mazzarini: What time does CSYA need to be off the baseball field this year? The rules this year did not state when CSYA had to be off the field. Vince Smith replied, by 10pm. Do not start a new inning after 10pm.

Did 11/12 baseball define head to head in respect to TIES? How are ties to be settled? Joe Willson replied, in the event of a tie for the last playoff spot the two teams will play a play in game. Winner qualifies for the last playoff spot. To decide 1st and 2nd, head to head record will determine 1st and 2nd place.

Field Committee:
(Vacant)

Old Business:
No report.

New Business:
Rick Mazzarini addressed a serious problem CSYA is having with people defecting from CSYA to Bethel Church or any other organization. Mr. Mazzarini's motion is, "Anyone who signs an older player up that we know of in a different organization for a sport that CSYA offers for a younger player, the younger player should go to that organization as well."

Example: Family signs Tee-Ball player up in Castle Shannon and their Little League player up in another community. If the other community also offers tee-ball, a family representative will have to appear before the Castle Shannon Executive Board at a public business meeting and explain their reasoning.

The Board voting was as follows: Joe Willson (YES), Scott Walther (YES), Rick Mazzarini (YES), and Matt Morrow (NO). Motion passed.

Vince Smith made a motion to adjourn at 7:25 pm; Matt Morrow seconded the motion; all in favor, motion carried. Next meeting will be on March 18th at 7:00pm in the CSYA Meeting Room A.
