Greg Madler wants to present the board with a Coaches Pledge, so we could have a rules that all the coaches would follow. Rick Mazzarini asked if Greg could distribute a copy to the board before the next meeting to discuss.
Old Business: Rick Mazzarini:
We are trying to get as many 7/8 to 11/12 softball and baseball games at Highland Field as possible. This is for the convenience of concessions and the use of indoor bathrooms. In the beginning of the season you will practice at the regular field and once games start the practice dates will change.
Opening day will be April 21st. We are looking for volunteers to help out during the full day of games.
New Business:
Diane Lasko comments that we should post at sign ups that you need to sign up for your correct age group. This will eliminate the problem we had kids signing up for an older age group that may not have room in their roster.
All Executive Board positions will be up for election in November.
Bill Clasper will attend the SWIG meeting Sunday March 25th night to turn in softball rosters. April 1st will be the scheduling meeting for girl's softball.
Frank Arzenti asked if Hamilton's field, batting cage and concessions stand are available. Rick Mazzarini will check with Bob Dini who runs the DABA program. Right now they have the field for all available times. This does not include that batting cage.
Mark Gizzo asked if the board can look into extending the infield dirt a few feet farther into the out field at Riehl Field. Mark will also try to bring to the board some more information on using the small game of chance license at other CSYA fields.
Vince Smith made a motion to adjourn at 8:00 pm; Bill Clasper seconded the motion; all in favor, motion carried. Next meeting April 17th 2007 at 7:00p.m.
