Minutes of June 19th 2007
Call to Order
Vince Smith starts meeting with Pledge of Allegiance at 7:00pm.

Minutes:
Rick Mazzarini makes a motion to approve the minutes from the 5-15-07 meeting. Scott Walther seconds the motion; all in favor, motion carries.
Treasurer's Report:
No Report
Rick Mazzarini asked if we could get a report on what concessions took in for soccer and what was spent for gifts at the last game. He also asked if we could get the same information for baseball and softball concessions.
The vote on the $2500.00 low account balance we wanted to vote on will have to wait to next meeting.
Presidents Report
Memorial Day went well, the borough is planning a larger event for that day next year.
The golf outing raised about $3200.00 dollars this year, the exact total has not been determined to date.
Vice Presidents Report
No report.
Trustees Report
No report from trustees.
Shawn Slan adds that his position will be open for next term; he is not running for a third term.
Rick Mazzarini asked the trustees to look into keeping the new field drain cleaned out after every couple rains.
Equipment Managers Report
No report.
Rick Mazzarini asked if we could get a new lime machine for Municipal Field. The wheel got broken off the one in the gang box from people throwing bases on it. He recommends that the coaches should put the bases away after the last game of the day.
Rick Mazzarini asked again, if we could get new hardware for the face guards that are coming off the helmets.
Commissioners Report:
Soccer: Linda Wilson
No Report.
Baseball: 7/8 Bruce Hrivnak
The All Star teams have been picked and they have decided what Tournaments they are going to.
9/10,11/12 Baseball:
Field time is hard to get for the next two weeks.
Looks like Kevin Grecek's team will be making the playoffs; they are 9 and 3 this year.
The 9/10 & 11/12 All Star teams have been picked and they have decided what Tournaments they are going to.
Softball: Bill Clasper
The 9/10 Girls Softball tournament will be held this weekend at Sleepy Hollow Field and Municipal Field starting at 10:00am.
We are still looking for volunteers for the 9/10 softball tournament on June 23rd and 24th.

Old Business: No report.
New Business:
Rick Mazzarini brings up some issues that the next board should address.
- He recommends that we rent the slushy machine for next year.
- The new board needs to decide if any teams will play at Sleepy Hollow next year, the 11/12 baseball teams where complaining they could not get enough field time.
- We need to address vandalism in the men's bathrooms at the Municipal Building.
- He recommends commissioners for each age group run their own concessions.
- Nominee's for new board positions should be coming forward now.
- The new board also needs to decide how they are going to deal with players wanting to move up to the older age bracket when they are not old enough.
Scott Walther asked if we can have the Borough repair the lights at Municipal. The field lights keep coming on by themselves.
Bill Clasper asked if we could have the rubber replaced on the pitchers mound at Sleepy Hollow Field. The batting cages are need of maintenance to make them usable.
Bruce Hrivnak asked he could send out fliers for fall ball sign ups. Bruce also asked if he could get the registration forms for kids that have already signed up in February.
Diane Lasko asked about the KOA soccer program in the fall. The soccer commissioner was not present to answer the question. Rick replied that it is up to the commissioner at this time to decide where and when we play.
Bill Clasper made a motion to adjourn at 8:00 pm; Shawn Slan seconded the motion; all in favor, motion carried. Next meeting August 21st at 7:00p.m.
