CASTLE SHANNON'S K-9 DIVISION Nitro has been trained in narcotics detection and Patrol Work, He is also used in the local schools in connection with the D.A.R.E. PROGRAM to teach the children to JUST SAY NO TO DRUGS. Nitro is used in many other community public relations events. He can also be called to duty by the district attorney's office, the state or Federal Bureau of Investigation. Officer Jeff Recker and K-9 Nitro
Nitro was purchased and his training paid for through grant funding of the state and the Allegheny District Attorney's Office.Nitro wears a ballistic vest purchased through fund raising from the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts of Castle Shannon Borough.  HTM DESIGNS |
