Vehicle Entries In the Lebanon Avenue and Maple Avenue Area

Castle Shannon Police are requesting the residents of the Lebanon Avenue and Maple Avenue area to report all suspicious activity of persons and slow moving vehicles that apprear to be watching property and vehicles at all hours of the P.M. and early A. M.hours. This is in reference to a number of parked vehicles entered in the area and items taken from them. Vehicle windows should be completely up, doors locked and items of value including coins should not be in the vehicle. These type items have been taken from parked vehicles in the early moring hours within the week of August 15, 2008.
Theft

The Castle Shannon Police Investigations Unit is investigating the theft of a Nintendo Wii Video and two games titled Wii Sports and Call of Duty 3. The Nintendo was stolen on or about April 28. 2008. The serial number of the unit is LU535831827. If anyone knows of the location of the Nintendo they are asked to call the investigations unit at 412 885-9300 extention 116. The police would like to return it to its owner. If anyone notices a new game console acquired, check the serial number and report to police if it matches the stolen unit.
