The Castle Shannon Police Investigations Unit arrested Shawn Wheeler of 528 N. 6th Street Clairton Pa for the theft of checks from a local business and cashing them up to the amount of $10,000.00.

Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Receiving Stolen Property and Operating Under Suspension
April 4, 2009

The Castle Shannon Police Investigations Unit arrested Nadia Bova, 31 years of age from 115 Mt. Lebanon Boulevard, Apartment 11 from Mt. Lebanon Township. Bova was arrested for the theft of a resident's vehicle and taken into custody a short time later.

The Castle Shannon Police arrested Starnita Sloan, 24 years of age from 7620 Hamilton Avenue 15208.
Sloan failed to pay for services at a local pet clinic and removed pet pain medication from behind the counter.

Aggravated Assault-Recklessly Endangering-Terroristic Threats
March 31, 2009

Castle Shannon Police arrested Derek Eugene Hill 34 years of age from 3905 Willow Avenue Castle Shannon. Hill is accused of cutting the forearm of his live-in girlfriend on March 30, 2009 during a physical domestic. Hill was arrested at his residence and served a Protection From Abuse Order. Hill was transported to the Allegheny County Jail.

March 16, 2009

The Castle Shannon Police Investigations Unit arrested Roy Arthrell III, 33, from 2893 Overhill Street South Park Township. Arthrell was charged with two counts of forging prescriptions for pain medication.
